Description

These deviled chicken wings are an explosion of Mexican flavors, perfect for a casual dinner or festive brunch! The spicy marinade, enriched with coriander and chili, makes the meat incredibly flavorful and tender. Accompanied by rustic potatoes, baked until golden and crispy, they create a unique and satisfying dish. I often prepare them for my friends, and they always disappear in the blink of an eye! A tip? Add a pinch of smoked paprika for an extra touch of flavor. Also ideal for an outdoor picnic or a barbecue in the garden.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • Chicken wings
  • Potatoes
  • to taste Coriander seeds
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • to taste Chili powder
  • to taste Hot paprika
  • 0.5 piece Lemon (juice)
  • Tabasco sauce
  • to taste Black pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation (7 steps)

Potato preparation

Thermomix® Setting

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces. Put the potatoes in the Mixtopf and add water to cover them. Cook the potatoes for 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Chicken wing preparation

Pass the chicken wings over the heat to remove any residual fluff, then divide them into three pieces by cutting at the joints and remove the tips. Set aside.

Marinade preparation

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 8

Place a clove of garlic, a pinch of chili powder, a pinch of hot paprika, a teaspoon of coriander seeds, a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper in the Mixtopf. Chop for 5 Sek./Stufe 8.

Addition of oil and lemon juice

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and the juice of half a lemon to the Mixtopf. Mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Chicken marinade

Pour the marinade into a large bowl. Add the chicken wings and mix well to make sure they are completely covered by the marinade. Add a few drops of Tabasco sauce to taste. Leave to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Preparation for baking in the oven

Drain the cooked potatoes in the Mixtopf and arrange them on a baking sheet greased with a drizzle of oil. Distribute the marinated chicken wings over the potatoes.

Baking in the oven

Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for 25 minutes, or until the chicken wings are golden brown and cooked.
