Description

This stuffed squid recipe is a real classic of Italian cuisine! I especially like to make it when I find fresh squid at the market. The filling of bread, milk, herbs and spices makes the squid incredibly juicy and aromatic. Perfect as a light lunch or as an appetizer for a festive dinner. The preparation is easier than you think and the result is simply delicious. A touch of lemon rounds off the dish perfectly. Try it, you will be thrilled!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • Cuttlefish
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Milk
  • Lemon
  • Parsley
  • to taste Chili pepper
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil (EVO)

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop squid tentacles

Put the tentacles of the squid cut into pieces in the bowl and chop for 5 Sec./Level 5.

Prepare the filling

In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the milk. Add the chopped tentacles, the grated lemon zest, the chopped parsley, salt, chili pepper and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Work with one hand until you get a moist but compact mixture.

Fill the squid

Place a squid well opened on the work surface and spread with about 3-4 tablespoons of filling. Block the ends with toothpicks leaving the center open like a boat.

Baking in the oven

Arrange the stuffed squid on a baking dish greased with a drizzle of oil, complete with another drizzle of oil and bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 190°C for 25-30 minutes.
