Description

This recipe shows how to make your own crispy granola. It contains rolled oats, shredded coconut, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cranberries and is baked with coconut oil, maple syrup and honey. The granola is vegetarian and vegan. The preparation time is about 40 minutes. Ideal for a healthy breakfast.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 6 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 6 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 360 g Rolled oats
  • 140 g Shredded coconut
  • 100 g Sunflower seeds
  • 100 g Pumpkin seeds
  • 100 g Cranberries dried
  • 100 g Bittersweet chocolate coating optional

Preparation (6 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees convection. Line the baking pan with baking paper, alternatively grease with a little coconut oil or butter.

Chop sunflower and pumpkin seeds

Put 100 g sunflower seeds and 100 g pumpkin seeds into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Mix all ingredients

Add 360 g rolled oats, 140 g shredded coconut, 6 tbsp coconut oil, 6 tbsp maple syrup and 4 tbsp honey to the chopped seeds in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3/reverse.

Add cranberries

Add 100 g dried cranberries and stir in for 5 sec./speed 2/reverse.

Bake granola

Spread the granola mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes until golden brown. Turn occasionally.

Let cool and add bittersweet chocolate coating (optional)

Let the baked granola cool. Optionally melt 100 g of bittersweet chocolate coating and drizzle over the cooled granola. Let cool again until the chocolate is firm.
