Description

This bell pepper cream cheese with chives is a delicious and easy spread that is ideal as finger food or an appetizer. Preparation takes only 20 minutes and the recipe is suitable for vegetarians. The cream cheese is refined with colorful bell peppers, low-fat quark, linseed oil and fresh chives. Ideal for parties or as a healthy snack.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 100 g colorful snack bell peppers
  • 200 g Cream cheese (reduced fat level)
  • 100 g Low-fat quark
  • 1 tbsp Linseed oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tsp grated organic lemon zest
  • 3 tbsp Chive rolls

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare bell peppers

Halve, clean, wash and finely dice 100 g colorful snack bell peppers.

Stir in cream cheese and low-fat quark

Put 200 g cream cheese (reduced fat level) and 100 g low-fat quark into the mixing bowl and stir with 1 tbsp linseed oil, salt and pepper for 20 sec/speed 3 until a creamy consistency is achieved.

Add lemon zest and bell peppers

Add 1 tsp grated organic lemon zest and stir in briefly. Then add the diced bell peppers and stir in for 10 sec/reverse/speed 2.

Fold in chives

Add 3 tbsp chive rolls and stir in for 5 sec/reverse/speed 1.

Fill and chill

Fill the spread into a clean twist-off jar and close. Keeps for 3 to 4 days when refrigerated.
