Description

This roast chicken with potatoes in white wine is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a family meal. The meat is tender and juicy, imbued with the aroma of white wine and Provencal herbs. The potatoes, cooked in the same sauce, absorb all the juices and become the ideal accompaniment. I usually prepare it when I have guests because it is very easy to make and always triumphs. In addition, it can be prepared in advance and heated just before serving. A simple but delicious dish that will transport you to grandma's kitchen! Ideal for cool autumn or winter days.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 2 piece Chicken thighs
  • 1 piece Onion
  • Potatoes
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Thyme
  • Oregano
  • Rosemary
  • 1 container White wine
  • 1 container Water

Preparation (4 steps)

Chicken preparation

Place the chicken thighs in the Varoma container. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with thyme, oregano and rosemary. Set aside.

Sauté the onion

3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Chop the onion into quarters and place it in the Thermomix bowl. Program 3 sec./Stufe 5. Lower the remains of the walls of the glass with the spatula. Add extra virgin olive oil and program 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add the chicken and potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Giro a la izquierda/Speed 1 Varoma Reverse

Place the seasoned chicken in the bowl together with the fried onion. Add the peeled and cut potatoes into medium pieces. Program 5 Min./Varoma/Giro a la izquierda/Stufe 1.

Incorporate the wine and water

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Giro a la izquierda/Speed 1 Varoma Reverse

Add the glass of white wine and the glass of water to the Thermomix bowl. Program 20 Min./Varoma/Giro a la izquierda/Stufe 1.
