Description

This classic butter cake recipe is a delightful treat that's perfect for any occasion. I've been making this cake for years, and it always brings back fond memories. The rich, buttery flavor and moist texture make it an absolute favorite. It's incredibly easy to prepare, especially with the help of the Thermomix®. This cake is ideal for breakfast, brunch, or as a simple dessert. Feel free to add a glaze or some fresh berries for an extra touch of sweetness. Enjoy!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 600 g white sugar
  • 450 g butter, softened
  • 6 piece large eggs
  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 150 ml milk

Preparation (6 steps)

Preheat Oven and Prepare Pans

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease three 8x4-inch loaf pans and line them with parchment paper. This step is done outside of the Thermomix to ensure the pans are properly prepared for baking.

Cream Sugar and Butter

Add 600g sugar and 450g softened butter to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 3 Min./Stufe 4 until light and fluffy.

Incorporate Eggs

20 sec/keine/Speed 3

Add 6 large eggs, one at a time, to the Thermomix bowl, mixing for 20 Sek./Stufe 3 after each addition to ensure they are fully incorporated.

Add Flour and Milk Alternately

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/keine/Speed 3

Add 500g all-purpose flour and 150ml milk alternately to the Thermomix bowl, beginning and ending with flour. Mix for 30 Sek./Stufe 3 until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Divide Batter and Bake

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared loaf pans. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.

Cool and Serve

Run a small knife around the edges of each pan. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then invert, peel off the parchment paper, and cool completely on wire racks. This step is done outside of the Thermomix.
