Description

This whole wheat pizza dough recipe is a healthy and delicious option to enjoy at home. Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 200 gramos whole wheat flour
  • 30 gramos skimmed milk powder
  • 10 gramos dry yeast
  • 2 cucharadas soperas neutral oil
  • 0.25 cup warm water
  • 1 cucharadita baking powder
  • 0.5 cucharadita sodium bicarbonate

Mix dry ingredients

Place in the Thermomix bowl the whole wheat flour (200 g), the skimmed milk powder (30 g), the dry yeast (10 g), the baking powder (1 tsp) and the sodium bicarbonate (½ tsp). Mix for 5 seconds/Speed 4.

Add liquid ingredients and knead

Add the neutral oil (2 tbsp) and the warm water (¼ cup) to the bowl. Knead for 5 minutes/Knead function.

Rest the dough

Remove the dough from the bowl, form a ball and let it rest in a covered bowl for at least 30 minutes while the topping is prepared.

Divide and roll out the dough

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion thinly with a rolling pin.

Cook the pizza base

Heat an iron griddle over medium-high heat. Cook each pizza base for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and slightly puffed.

Add the topping and gratinate (optional)

Add the desired topping to each pizza base. If you want to gratinate the cheese, cover the griddle for a few seconds until the cheese melts.
