Description

This recipe for mince with small horns pasta is a hearty main course, perfect for the whole family. With the Thermomix® the sauce is easy to prepare while the meat is fried in the pan. The preparation time is about 40 minutes and is enough for 4 servings. Ideal for a cosy evening.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Onions
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp Frying butter
  • 150 g Carrots
  • 500 g Mince (beef or mixed)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 300 ml Bouillon (hot) or gravy
  • 400 g Small horns pasta
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Grated cheese
  • 4 container Apple sauce

Preparation (12 steps)

Prepare onions and garlic

Peel and halve 250g onions. Peel 1 clove of garlic.

Chop onions and garlic

Put the onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. If necessary, push down from the edge with the spatula.

Sauté onions and garlic

Add 1EL frying butter to the onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Prepare carrots

Peel 150g carrots and cut into coarse pieces.

Chop carrots

Place the WunderSlicer V2 with the fine disc on the mixing bowl lid. Add and collect celery and carrots through the WunderSlicer V2 into the mixing bowl. Alternatively, the chopped vegetables can be added directly to the mixing bowl.

Add vegetables and sauté

Add carrots to the onions and garlic in the mixing bowl. Sauté for 5 min./120°C/level 1.

Fry meat

Fry 500g mince (beef or mixed) in a separate pan with some oil until crumbly and season with salt and pepper.

Add mince, tomato puree and bouillon

Add the fried mince, 2 tbsp tomato puree and 4dl bouillon (hot) to the mixing bowl. Simmer for 15 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Cook small horns pasta

Meanwhile cook 320g small horns pasta in salted water according to the package instructions.

Season sauce

Season the sauce with salt, pepper and paprika. If necessary, add some more bouillon if the sauce is too thick.

Mix small horns pasta and sauce

Drain the cooked small horns pasta and add together with the sauce to the mixing bowl. Mix for 2 min./reverse rotation level 1.

Arrange and serve

Arrange mince with small horns pasta on plates and serve with grated cheese. For a particularly creamy consistency, replace the mixing knife with the Milkix and stir in for 30 sec./level 2.
