Description

This vegetable rice pan is a vegetarian main course that is ideal for a quick and healthy meal. With whole grain rice, fresh mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes, it is rich in nutrients and fiber. Preparation takes about 50 minutes and is designed for one serving. Perfect for a light and satisfying meal.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 60 g Whole grain rice (Basmati variety)
  • 1 piece small Onion (50 g)
  • 100 g Mushrooms, fresh
  • 1 piece small Pepper, red, green or yellow (100 g)
  • 1 piece Tomato (100 g)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Curry powder
  • 2 Prisen Natural salt

Preparation (6 steps)

Cook rice

Thermomix® Setting
30-40 Minuten/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Rinse 60 g of whole grain rice in a sieve and place in the simmering basket. Add about twice the amount of water to the mixing bowl, insert the simmering basket and cook for 30-40 minutes/100°C/speed 1.

Chop and sauté onion

3 sec/Speed 5, 3 min/248°F/Speed 1 248°F

Peel 1 small onion (50 g), halve and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Sauté mushrooms

Wash 100 g mushrooms, fresh, slice and add to the pan with the onions. Sauté for about 3 minutes.

Sauté pepper

Cut 1 small pepper, red, green or yellow (100 g) into strips and add to the pan as well. Fry for another 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes

Dice 1 tomato (100 g) and add to the pan. Add a pinch of natural salt.

Mix in rice and season

After another 5 minutes, mix the cooked rice from the simmering basket into the vegetables. Season with 1 tsp curry powder and natural salt.
