Description

This recipe for chicken with pretzel crust and honey-mustard sauce is a hearty main course that is ready in about 20 minutes.   • 80 g Salt Pretzels
  • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sweet Paprika Powder
  • 500 g Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt Flakes
  • Fresh Parsley
  • 50 g Butter
  • 50 g Honey
  • 20 g Mustard
  • 30 g Mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Chili Flakes

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop pretzels

Put 80 g of salt pretzels into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 8. To chop the pretzels even finer, the Meistermix Patix can be used instead of the standard blade. Transfer the ground pretzels to a small bowl.

Prepare chicken

Pat 500 g of chicken breast fillets dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. Turn the meat one after the other first in a garlic-chili marinade and then in the pretzel breading. Place the breaded pieces of meat on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Fry chicken

Fry the breaded chicken in a separate pan with a little oil until golden brown.

Prepare sauce

Put 50 g butter in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Finish sauce

Add 50 g honey, 20-30 g mustard, 1 tsp salt and 1 pinch of chili flakes and mix for 10 sec./speed 3. Season to taste and add more mustard or chili flakes if necessary.

Arrange

Serve the fried chicken with the honey-mustard sauce and sprinkle with sea salt flakes and fresh parsley.
