Description

This hearty cutlet pot is a savory main course that is ready in about 40 minutes and serves 4 portions. The dish combines tender pork cutlets with peppers and a creamy sauce. Ideal for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 600 g Pork cutlet
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Bell peppers (red and yellow)
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
  • 10 g Parsley (fresh)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (10 steps)

Prepare meat and vegetables

Cut 600 g pork cutlet into bite-sized strips. Peel and quarter 1 onion. Remove the stalk, seeds, and white skin from 2 bell peppers (red and yellow), wash, and cut into strips.

Chop onion

Place 1 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onion

Add 2 tbsp sunflower oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Sear meat

Sear the meat in batches in a separate pan, then remove and set aside.

Add pepper

Add the pepper strips and sauté for about 2 minutes.

Roast tomato paste

Stir in 2 tbsp tomato paste and roast briefly.

Prepare sauce

Pour in 200 ml cream and 200 ml vegetable broth, stir in 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet) and bring to a boil. 5 min./100°C/speed 1

Add meat and simmer

Return the meat to the pan, mix well and simmer everything over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until the meat is cooked.

Prepare parsley

Meanwhile, rinse 10 g parsley, shake dry, pluck off the leaves and chop.

Season and serve

Season the cutlet pot with salt and pepper and serve sprinkled with parsley. Pasta or potatoes go well with this.
