Description

These mini meatball skewers are a delicious finger food for parties or birthdays. The meatballs are made from ground meat, egg and breadcrumbs and skewered with cheddar, bread roll dough, tomatoes, lettuce and pickles. Preparation takes about 45 minutes and yields 16 servings. Ideal for a hearty snack.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g Ground meat
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 80 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 4 Scheiben Cheddar
  • 1 Rolle Bread roll dough
  • Tomatoes
  • Lettuce
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare ground meat

Thermomix® Setting

Add 500 g ground meat, 1 egg, 80 g breadcrumbs and 1 tsp sweet paprika to the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 2 min./kneading stage.

Shape and fry meatballs

Form small meatballs from the ground meat dough. Fry the meatballs in a separate pan with some oil until they are cooked.

Prepare cheddar

Cut 4 slices of cheddar into strips with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid and select the desired slice (fine/coarse). Guide the cheddar slices through the slicer and collect the strips.

Prepare bread roll dough

Cut 1 roll of bread roll dough into small pieces and fry them briefly in a pan.

Prepare tomatoes

Cut tomatoes into slices.

Prepare lettuce

Wash and spin dry lettuce leaves.

Prepare pickles

Cut pickles into slices.

Assemble skewers

Thread mini meatballs, cheddar strips, bread roll dough pieces, tomato slices, lettuce leaves and pickle slices onto skewers. Serve with ketchup as desired.
