Description

This crustless quiche is a real explosion of flavors! I love preparing it for a Sunday brunch or a quick weeknight dinner. The chorizo brings a spicy touch and the peppers a slightly sweet sweetness. The melting mimolette and grated gruyere complete the dish perfectly. It's a comforting and easy dish to make with the Thermomix®. You can vary the vegetables according to the season and everyone's tastes. A recipe that I make regularly and that always pleases!

Ingredients (18 ingredients)

  • to taste Chili pepper
  • 70 g Gruyere
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • to taste Nutmeg
  • Paprika
  • to taste Olive oil
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Salt or fine salt
  • 130 g Liquid cream
  • 150 g Chorizo
  • 65 g Corn flour
  • 1 piece Yellow bell pepper
  • 65 g Flour
  • 1 piece Orange bell pepper
  • 50 cl Milk
  • 8 slice Mimolette
  • 5 piece Tomatoes
  • 1 piece Red onion

Preparation (6 steps)

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).

Grate the gruyere

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 8

Put the gruyere in the Thermomix bowl and grate for 10 Sek./Stufe 8. Set aside.

Prepare the vegetables and the chorizo

Cut the peppers into small dice. Cut the chorizo into slices.

Prepare the quiche mixture

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Put the eggs, liquid cream, milk, corn flour, flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg and chili pepper in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Assemble the quiche

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf/Speed 2 Reverse

Add the peppers, chorizo and grated gruyere (reserve a little for the top) to the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently for 10 Sek./Linkslauf/Stufe 2.

Cook the quiche

Pour the preparation into a previously oiled pie dish. Arrange the mimolette slices on top and sprinkle with the remaining grated gruyere. Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C.
