Description

This hearty potato vegetable stew is real soul food for cold days! I love making it when I need something quick and I have leftover vegetables in the freezer. The combination of potatoes, vegetables and savory bologna sausage makes it a filling and warming dish. Processed cheese provides a creamy consistency and the spices give the stew the finishing touch. If you like, you can sprinkle fresh parsley over it. Perfect for the whole family!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 3 piece large potato(es)
  • 1 Paket Vegetables frozen e.g. emperor vegetables
  • 1 Ring Bologna sausage
  • 1 Ecke Processed cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Broth granulated
  • Flour
  • Parsley

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel, wash and dice 3 large potatoes.

Cook potatoes

Place the diced potatoes in the mixing bowl and cover with water. Cook for 20 min./100°C/speed 1.

Cook vegetables

15 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add 1 packet of frozen vegetables (e.g. emperor vegetables) to the mixing bowl and cover with some water according to the package instructions. Cook for 15 min./100°C/speed 1. After the cooking time, add some more water so that the vegetables are well covered with water.

Season and melt cheese

Season with salt, pepper and granulated broth to taste. Add 1 wedge of processed cheese and melt for 3 min./60°C/speed 2.

Add bologna sausage

Cut 1 ring of bologna sausage into small cubes and add to the mixing bowl. Heat for 2 min./60°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Add potatoes

Drain the cooked potatoes and add to the vegetables in the mixing bowl. Mix for 1 min./60°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Thicken stew

Thicken everything with a little flour (approx. 1 tbsp). To do this, cook for 1 min./100°C/speed 2.

Sprinkle the stew with fresh parsley and serve. Chop parsley in the mixing bowl for 3 sec./speed 8 and sprinkle over the stew.
