Description

These potato fans with bacon are a real eye-catcher and taste simply fantastic! The potatoes are cut paper-thin and topped with savory bacon. Baking in the oven makes them crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. A great dish for a cozy dinner or as a side dish to meat and fish. The preparation is uncomplicated and can be done in no time with the Thermomix®. An absolute must for all potato lovers!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

800 g potatoes
200 g fatty bacon
rosemary
olive oil
pepper
fine salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices with a knife or mandolin. The slices should be as even as possible.

Season potatoes

Place the potato slices in a bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper and rosemary. Mix everything well so that the potatoes are evenly seasoned.

Layer potatoes

Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Layer the potato slices in the dish in a fan-like manner. Make sure that the slices overlap slightly.

Add bacon

Insert the bacon slices between the potato slices so that the surface is evenly covered.

Bake potatoes

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake at 190°C (top/bottom heat) or 180°C (convection) for 45 minutes until the potatoes are cooked and the bacon is crispy.
