These Pepperoni Mozzarella Bread Bites are a delightful and easy-to-make appetizer or snack, perfect for parties or a casual get-together. I've been making these for years, and they're always a hit! The combination of savory pepperoni, melted mozzarella, and aromatic Italian herbs is simply irresistible. The preparation is quick, and the baking time is minimal, making it ideal for those last-minute cravings. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat. These bread bites are best served warm, allowing the cheese to be delightfully gooey. Enjoy!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 12 piece sandwich rolls (6 inch)
  • 6 ounce pepperoni slices
  • 16 ounce sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Preparation (5 steps)

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Prepare the rolls

Cut 5 deep vertical slices into each of the 12 sandwich rolls, making sure to leave the roll connected at the bottom. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Stuff the rolls

Fold each pepperoni slice in half and stuff into the vertical slices of the rolls. Slice each piece of mozzarella cheese in half, and stuff into the vertical slices. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Prepare the seasoning

Thermomix® Setting

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of granulated garlic, and 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs to the mixing bowl. Mix for 5 Sec./Stufe 3.

Drizzle and bake

Drizzle the seasoned olive oil mixture over the stuffed rolls. Bake in the preheated oven until the mozzarella has melted, about 12 minutes. This step does not involve the Thermomix.
