Description

This stew broth is a traditional recipe that always reminds me of my grandmother. It is perfect for cold winter days and very easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The broth is very tasty thanks to the white bone and the chicken thigh, and the vegetables give it a fresh and nutritious touch. I usually add some ham cubes to give it an extra flavor. It is a very complete and comforting dish that you will surely love! In addition, it is an excellent way to take advantage of the vegetables you have in the fridge.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1.2 litros water
  • 1 piece chicken thigh
  • 1 piece white bone
  • 1 piece leek
  • 1 piece celery
  • 1 piece turnip
  • 0.7 piece eggs
  • 100 gr ham cubes
  • 90 gr medium noodles

Preparation (7 steps)

Initial cooking of the ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/212°F/Velocidad cuchara 100 Reverse

Add 1.2 liters of water to the Thermomix glass. Incorporate the chicken thigh, the white bone, the leek, the celery and the turnip. Program 25 minutes/100°C/Reverse direction/Spoon speed.

Separate and cool ingredients

Remove the chicken thigh, the white bone, the leek, the celery and the turnip from the glass. Reserve the broth. Let the chicken and eggs cool (if used). Discard the white bone.

Crush the vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Speed 7

Introduce the leek, the celery and the turnip in the Thermomix glass. Add a little of the reserved broth. Crush 15 seconds/Speed 7.

Incorporate the crushed vegetables to the broth

Pour the mixture of crushed vegetables to the reserved broth in the Thermomix glass.

Add the eggs and the chicken

Peel and chop the eggs in small pieces (if used) and add them to the broth. Shred the chicken and add it also to the broth.

Cook the pasta and the ham

Thermomix® Setting
8 min/212°F/Velocidad cuchara 100 Reverse

Add the noodles and the ham cubes to the broth. Program 8 minutes/100°C/Reverse direction/Spoon speed. Adjust the time according to the instructions on the noodles package.

Serve

Taste and rectify with salt if necessary. Serve hot.
