Description

This colorful cabbage salad with bell pepper is an absolute highlight at every barbecue party or as a refreshing side dish to hearty dishes. I especially like to make it in the summer when the white cabbage is nice and crunchy. The bell pepper provides a slight sweetness and the marinade for the perfect touch. The salad can be prepared very well and then soaks well in the refrigerator. This is how the aromas unfold optimally and the salad tastes even better. A real all-rounder that is always well received!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 500 g White cabbage
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 0.5 piece Bell pepper red
  • 0.5 piece Bell pepper green
  • 5 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare white cabbage

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 4

Add 500 g white cabbage to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4. If necessary, push down with the spatula and repeat the process until the cabbage has the desired fineness.

Chop onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Add 1 onion to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Mix vegetables

Add the chopped white cabbage and onion together with 0.5 red bell peppers in strips and 0.5 green bell peppers in strips to a large bowl.

Prepare dressing

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 5 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp vinegar, salt and pepper to taste to the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3.

Marinate salad

Pour the dressing over the salad in the bowl and mix well. Cover the salad and let it soak in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
