Description

This hearty pizza with mushrooms and salami is an absolute classic and everyone simply loves it! The dough becomes wonderfully smooth in the Thermomix® and the preparation is child's play. Topped with fresh mushrooms, spicy salami, juicy cherry tomatoes and aromatic artichoke hearts, it is perfect for a cozy evening with friends or the next party. If you like, you can garnish the pizza with fresh oregano. A great recipe that always works!

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 250 g Flour
  • Flour
  • 0.5 cube Yeast
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 gestrichene(r) TL Salt
  • 1 gestrichene(r) TL Pepper
  • 2 mittelgroße Onions
  • 125 g Mushrooms
  • 0.5 pack Chopped tomatoes
  • 100 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 30 g Salami
  • 4 piece Artichoke hearts (canned)
  • 75 g Hard cheese
  • Oregano for garnish

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare yeast dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Put 250 g flour, ½ cube yeast, 1 pinch sugar, 2 tbsp oil, 1 level tsp salt and 150 ml lukewarm water into the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading level to a smooth dough. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.

Prepare onions and mushrooms

3 sec/Speed 5

Peel 2 medium-sized onions, halve and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./level 5. Clean, wash, halve or quarter 125 g mushrooms and put them in a bowl together with the onions.

Sauté vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Put 1 tbsp oil in the mixing bowl, add onions and mushrooms and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare tomato sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add ½ pack chopped tomatoes to the onions and mushrooms in the mixing bowl and simmer for 5 min./100°C/level 1. Then let cool slightly.

Top the pizza

Knead the dough again. Roll out on a floured work surface into a circle (approx. 25 cm Ø) and place on baking paper. Let rise for another 20 minutes. Spread the tomato mixture on the dough. Distribute 100 g halved cherry tomatoes, 30 g salami in slices and 4-6 artichoke hearts (canned) on top.

Grate cheese and bake pizza

10 sec/Speed 8

Put 75 g hard cheese in the mixing bowl and grate for 10 sec./level 8. Spread the grated cheese on the pizza. Bake the pizza on a hot pizza stone in the electric grill for about 10 minutes. Remove and garnish with oregano if desired.
