Ingredients (18 ingredients)

  • 500 gramos mixed minced meat (beef and pork)
  • 1 piece onion
  • 3 dientes garlic
  • 3 piece medium potatoes
  • 2 piece carrots
  • 4 cucharadas soperas fried tomato
  • 1 container water or meat broth
  • 1 piece large egg
  • parsley
  • salt
  • pepper
  • flour or breadcrumbs for coating
  • sweet paprika
  • 1 puñado peas (optional)
  • 1 piece red pepper
  • 1 piece green pepper
  • rosemary
  • olive oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Preparation of the meatballs

In a large bowl, mix 500 g of mixed minced meat, flour or breadcrumbs (amount needed to shape), 1 large egg and 1 minced garlic clove. Season with salt, pepper and parsley to taste. Mix all the ingredients well and shape the meatballs with your hands. Set aside.

Searing the meatballs

In a frying pan with a little olive oil, sear the meatballs over medium heat until golden brown on the outside. Do not cook them completely, just sear the surface. Remove the meatballs from the pan and set aside.

Crushing the vegetables

Place 1 onion, 1 red pepper and 1 green pepper, chopped, in the Thermomix bowl. Chop for 3 seconds at speed 5.

Sautéing the vegetables

Incorporate the tomato and broth

Add 4 tablespoons of fried tomato, 1 glass of water or meat broth, sweet paprika, rosemary, salt and pepper to taste. Mix for 5 seconds at speed 4.

Cooking the potatoes

Break or crack 3 medium potatoes and add them to the bowl together with 1 handful of peas (optional). Cook for 10 minutes at 100°C at speed 1.

Add the seared meatballs to the bowl. Cook for 25 minutes at 100°C at speed 1. Check the salt level and adjust if necessary.
