Description

I love preparing this creamy seafood pasta! It is a simple and quick dish, perfect for a weekday dinner or a Sunday lunch. Frozen seafood is very practical and allows you to make this recipe in no time. The creamy fish stock sauce adds a gourmet and tasty touch. Feel free to add some fresh shrimp for even more flavor. A real treat for lovers of marine flavors! Accompany this dish with a glass of dry white wine for an optimal taste experience.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 300 g pasta
  • 200 g frozen seafood
  • 1 piece shallot
  • 5 cl liquid fresh cream
  • 5 cl fish stock
  • 2 cl white wine
  • 1 brin parsley
  • 1 pinch salt or fine salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground pepper

Cooking the pasta

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Fill the Thermomix bowl with 1 liter of salted water. Program 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Then add 300 g of pasta through the lid opening and cook according to the time indicated on the package, adjusting the cooking time if necessary. Check the cooking and drain the pasta in a colander.

Preparing the shallot

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Put 1 peeled shallot in the Thermomix bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula.

Cooking the seafood

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 120 Reverse

Add a knob of butter to the bowl with the chopped shallot and cook 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1. Then add 200 g of frozen seafood and cook 5 Min./120°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Reduction of the white wine and fish stock

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Pour 2 cl of white wine into the bowl and cook 2 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1 without the measuring cup to evaporate the alcohol. Then add 5 cl of fish stock and cook 3 Min./100°C/Stufe 1 without the measuring cup to reduce the sauce.

Adding the cream and simmering

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add 5 cl of liquid fresh cream to the bowl and cook 2 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1 to simmer everything. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper to your taste.

Incorporating the pasta

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Linkslauf Speed 1 Reverse

Add the drained pasta to the bowl and mix gently 1 Min./Linkslauf Stufe 1 to coat the pasta well with the seafood sauce. Serve immediately and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
