Description

This dish of pork bites with spring onions is an explosion of oriental flavors, perfect for a quick and tasty dinner. The meat, marinated in soy sauce and rice wine, becomes very tender and flavorful. The spring onions, sautéed in a pan, add a sweet and crunchy note that goes perfectly with the pork. I often prepare it when I have little time but want something tasty. Ideal to serve with basmati rice or noodles. A true Asian comfort food!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • Pork fillet
  • Chinese rice wine
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Cornstarch
  • Spring onions
  • Peanut oil
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Meat preparation

Cut the pork fillet into strips about 5 cm long. Transfer the meat to a bowl.

Pork marinade

Add to the meat in the bowl: Chinese rice wine, soy sauce, cornstarch and sesame oil. Mix the ingredients well, cover the bowl with transparent film and let the pork marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Preparation of spring onions

Clean the spring onions by removing the green part and cutting them into chunks.

Cooking the pork and spring onions

Heat a wok pan well with peanut oil until it reaches the smoking point. Add the marinated pork and cook over high heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly.

Adding spring onions and seasoning

Add the chopped spring onions and sugar to the pork in the pan. Salt and pepper adequately. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring often, until the spring onions are tender but still crunchy.

Serve

Serve the pork with hot spring onions immediately.
