Description

This rustic pizza is a simple and tasty delight, perfect for a friendly meal with family or friends. The dough, prepared in a flash with the Thermomix®, is light and crispy. The topping, made with fresh tomatoes, caramelised onions, ham and olives, offers an explosion of Mediterranean flavours. I particularly like to add a touch of Herbs de Provence for an irresistible fragrance. The melting mozzarella brings a gourmet smoothness to every bite. Easy to prepare and always appreciated, this pizza is a must-have in my kitchen!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 15 cl lukewarm water
  • 1 c. à c. fine salt
  • 3 c. à s. olive oil
  • 1 packet baker's yeast
  • 250 g wheat flour (T45)
  • 125 g mozzarella
  • 1 can diced tomato
  • 1 oignon onion
  • 4 slice ham
  • 10 olives olives
  • 1 c. à c. morel or herbs of provence

Preparation of the dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/99°F/Speed 2 37

Pour 15 cl of lukewarm water, 1 tsp of salt, 3 tbsp of olive oil and 1 sachet of baker's yeast into the Thermomix® bowl. Mix 2 Min./37°C/Stufe 2.

Adding the flour

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add 250 g of wheat flour (T45) to the mixture. Knead 2 Min./Knetstufe.

Resting the dough

Remove the dough from the Thermomix® and form a ball. Leave to rest for ½ hour at least in a salad bowl covered with a tea towel.

Preparation of the topping: Onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Put 1 onion cut into quarters in the Thermomix® bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Preparation of the topping: Cooking the onion and tomatoes

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add a little olive oil and 1 can of diced tomatoes to the bowl. Cook 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Preparation of the topping: Mozzarella

Drain 125 g of mozzarella and cut it into slices or small cubes.

Assembly of the pizza

Preheat the oven to 210°C. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the dough on the baking sheet. Garnish it with a drizzle of olive oil, then spread the tomato preparation. Add 4 slices of ham, 10 olives and the rest of the garnish of your choice. Finish with the mozzarella.

Baking the pizza

Sprinkle 1 tsp of morel or herbs of Provence. Bake for 15 minutes in a hot oven (210°C).
