Description

This rustic apple tart is a real delight, perfect for an autumn snack or a comforting dessert. The apple compote, prepared with a touch of vanilla sugar, brings an irresistible sweetness, while the apple slices arranged in a spiral add a touch of elegance. I often prepare it for my friends and family, and it is always very appreciated. The shortcrust pastry, delightfully crispy, perfectly complements this simple but tasty dessert. A real treat for the taste buds!

  • Butter
  • Vanilla sugar
  • 6 piece Golden Apples
  • Shortcrust pastry

Preparation of apples for compote

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Peel and cut 4 apples into pieces. Put them in the Thermomix bowl with 120 ml of water. Program 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Addition of vanilla sugar to the compote

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3

Add 1 sachet of vanilla sugar to the compote in the Thermomix bowl. Mix 5 Sek./Stufe 3.

Preparation of apple slices

While the compote cools slightly, peel and quarter the last two apples, then cut the quarters into thin slices. Set aside.

Assembling the tart

Roll out the shortcrust pastry in a mold and prick it with a fork. Pour the compote onto the pastry and place the apple slices in a spiral or several circles, as desired!

Cooking the tart

Preheat the oven to 210°C (Th 7). Bake the tart and cook for a maximum of 30 minutes. Monitor the cooking. You can add a little vanilla sugar on the tart while it cooks to caramelize a bit.
