Description

Spanish potato omelet

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 8 piece medium sized potatoes
  • 1 piece yellow onion
  • 5 tbsp Margarine
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel the raw potatoes and cut into wafer-thin slices. Rinse cold.

Chop onions

Finely chop the 1 yellow onion.

Fry potatoes and onions

Heat 2-3 tbsp Margarine in a frying pan and fry the onions and dried potatoes in it over medium heat. Turn occasionally.

Whisk and season eggs

Whisk the 4 Eggs in a bowl that is large enough to hold the fried potatoes. Mix in the potatoes and season with Salt and Pepper.

Fry tortilla

Heat Margarine again in the frying pan. When it starts to brown, pour in the potato-egg mixture. Stir constantly with a fork until the tortilla is firm.

Turn tortilla and finish baking

Turn the tortilla with the help of a large plate or lid and bake on the other side.
