Description

This recipe for chicken breast in bell pepper-cream is a hearty main course that is prepared in the oven. The chicken breast fillets are combined with bell peppers, onions, garlic and a creamy sauce. With a preparation time of approx. 50 minutes, it is ideal for a quick dinner. The dish is designed for 4 servings.

  • 4 piece Chicken breast fillet
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 piece red bell pepper
  • 400 ml Broth
  • Sweet paprika
  • Butter
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Creme fraîche

Preparation (6 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.

Prepare chicken breast

Place the 4 chicken breast fillets in a casserole dish and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything well.

Chop and sauté onion and garlic

Put an onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add some butter and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1. Add a clove of garlic and chop for 3 sec./speed 7 and sauté for another 2 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare sauce

Add 1 tbsp tomato paste to the mixing bowl and sauté for 1 min./120°C/speed 1. Deglaze with 400 ml broth and add 2 tbsp Creme fraîche. Bring to a boil for 5 min./100°C/speed 2 and season with sweet paprika, salt and pepper.

Add bell pepper

Add 2 diced red bell peppers to the mixing bowl and stir in for 3 min./100°C/speed 1 reverse.

Complete casserole

Pour the sauce over the chicken breast in the casserole dish and place in the preheated oven for approx. 30 minutes.
