Description

This recipe for baked sea bass with potatoes and onion is a delicious main course that is very easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 1.2 kg Large sea bass
  • 1 piece Potato
  • 1 piece Onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 75 ml Water

Preparation of the potatoes and onion

Peel and cut the potato into thin slices with a mandolin. Cut the onion into thin strips. Place the potatoes in the Varoma container. Distribute the onion over the potatoes. Add salt and a splash of extra virgin olive oil.

Steaming the potatoes and onion

Pour 75 ml of water into the Thermomix glass. Place the Varoma in its position and program 15 min/Varoma/Speed 1.

Preparation of the sea bass

Season the open sea bass to roast on its back, making sure that the bone remains on one side. Brush the fish with a little oil.

Baking the sea bass with the potatoes

Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Place the steamed potatoes and onion on a baking tray. Place the sea bass on top of the potatoes. Bake for 12-20 minutes, or until when inserting a point under the bone, it lifts easily.

Serve

Remove the sea bass from the baking tray, remove the bone and place it on a serving dish with its garnish of potatoes and onion. If the potatoes are not golden brown, put them in the oven for a few more minutes.
