Description

Classic Bolognese sauce, perfect with pasta.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 500 g Minced meat, mixed
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Carrot
  • 0.5 piece Celery stalk
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 500 g Sieved tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Red wine
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Vegetable broth, instant

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Peel and quarter the onion. Peel the carrots and cut into coarse pieces. Clean the celery and also chop coarsely.

Chop vegetables

Put the prepared onions (1), carrots (1) and celery (1/2) into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 5.

Sauté vegetables

Add the olive oil (2 tbsp) to the chopped vegetables in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Fry meat

Fry the minced meat (500 g) in a separate pan with a little olive oil until it is crumbly and brown.

Add meat and remaining ingredients

Put the fried minced meat (500 g), the sieved tomatoes (500 g), the tomato paste (2 tbsp), the milk (100 ml), the red wine (100 ml), salt (1 tsp), pepper (1/2 tsp), oregano (1 tsp), basil (1 tsp) and the vegetable broth (1 tsp) into the mixing bowl.

Let Bolognese simmer

Let the Bolognese simmer for 45 min./100°C/level 1/reverse. Leave the measuring cup on.

Season and serve

Season the Bolognese after the cooking time and season with salt and pepper if necessary. Serve with pasta.
