Description

I love this salmon pasta recipe, it's so simple and quick to prepare! The mixture of fresh and smoked salmon brings an incredible flavor, and the fresh cream makes it all smooth and delicious. It's a perfect dish for a weekday dinner or a Sunday brunch. I often use tagliatelle or linguine, but any long pasta will do. Feel free to add some vegetables like asparagus or peas for a more complete version. A little fresh chopped dill when serving, and it's a guaranteed treat!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • Olive oil
  • Salt or fine salt
  • Pepper
  • Dill
  • 20 cl Fresh cream
  • 5 cl White wine
  • 300 g Salmon steaks
  • 100 g Smoked salmon
  • 1 piece Shallot
  • 400 g Pasta

Preparation (7 steps)

Pasta cooking

Cook the pasta in a large quantity of boiling salted water according to the instructions on the package. Meanwhile, prepare the salmon sauce.

Shallot preparation

Put 1 minced shallot in the Thermomix bowl and mix for 3 Sek./Stufe 5.

Cooking the shallot and fresh salmon

Add olive oil to the bowl and sauté the shallot for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1. Then add 300 g of fresh salmon steaks cut into cubes and cook for 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Deglazing with white wine

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Deglaze with 5 cl of white wine and reduce for 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the cream and smoked salmon

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 1 90

Add 20 cl of fresh cream and 100 g of smoked salmon cut into strips. Heat for 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 1.

Seasoning and end of preparation

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 1 Reverse

Sprinkle with dill, salt lightly and pepper. Mix gently for 10 Sek./Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Service

Drain the pasta, place it on a plate and add the salmon preparation on top. Optionally add a few slices of smoked salmon.
