Description

Simple and quick tomato sauce with pasta, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

1 piece Onion, small
1 clove Garlic
2 tbsp Olive oil
400 g Chopped tomatoes (can)
1 tsp Dried herbs
to taste Salt
to taste Pepper
200 g Noodles

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Peel and quarter 1 small onion and place 1 clove of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. If necessary, scrape down from the edge with the spatula.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 2 tbsp olive oil to the chopped onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Add and chop tomatoes

Add 400 g of chopped canned tomatoes to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 4.

Cook sauce

10 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add 1 tsp of dried herbs, salt and pepper to taste to the tomatoes in the mixing bowl and cook for 10 min./100°C/level 1. Leave the measuring cup on.

Cook the noodles

While the sauce is cooking, cook 200 g of noodles in a separate pot according to the package instructions.

Season and serve sauce

Drain the cooked noodles and mix with the tomato sauce from the mixing bowl. If necessary, mix again for 5 sec./level 2/reverse. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
