Description

These grain pointed rolls are a delicious and simple recipe for hearty rolls. They are rich in proteins and fiber and are ideal as a snack, side dish or to take away. Preparation takes about 55 minutes and yields 8 servings. Perfect for a low-carb diet.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 Pkg. Cottage cheese
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Almond flour
  • 1 tbsp Psyllium seed husks
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pumpkin seeds (grated and whole)
  • Sunflower seeds

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare ingredients

Put cottage cheese, eggs, almond flour, psyllium seed husks, baking soda, salt and pepper into the mixing bowl.

Prepare dough

Mix all ingredients in the mixing bowl for 20 sec/speed 4.

Prepare grains

Spread pumpkin seeds (grated and whole) and sunflower seeds on a plate.

Shape and roll sticks

Use a tablespoon to remove a portion of the dough, form sticks with moistened hands and roll them all around in the grains so that they are evenly covered.

Place sticks on baking sheet

Place the sticks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Baking

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
